Lanikai, Kailua Route

The best ride on a moped is along the thirty miles of coast into Kailua town.You will cruise past Diamond Head up the 72 around Hanauma Bay visiting the Sandys Beach, the Halona Blowhole, Makapuu Light House, the Sea Life Park, and Waimanalo. You will then drop down the 61 into the beach town of Kailua where Lanikai is located. Lanikai Beach is consistently rated in the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. Kayaking and snorkeling are available also.

Precautions:
You need to stay off of the H-1, H-2 and H-3. We don’t recommend taking the Pali(61) back into town. The Kalanianiole(72) is a more moped friendly route.
